The works include a geothermal installation with ground source heat pumps to harness natural energy and reduce carbon footprint.

The works are phased to ensure that the station is maintained ‘on the run’ 24/7, 365 days per year. The works include a large photovoltaic array, rainwater and greywater harvesting installations.
